The Hop Yard Alehouse & Grill, is located on what was once the largest hop farm in the world. From the 1880's to the beginning of World War I, Pleasanton hops were world renowned and the Pleasanton Hop Company operated on 1900 acres of swampy marshland along what is now Hopyard Road. 

This local economic powerhouse brought people together from near and far to work hard and play hard together. We seek to recapture some of that local spirit here at The Hop Yard- celebrating the renaissance of small microbreweries and their creative brewmasters who have captivated a new generation of beer lovers.
